Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

  • 5-6 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 
  • 1/2 c. milk 
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 t. garlic salt
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 T. fresh chives
  • salt and pepper (to taste)


DIRECTIONS

1. Wash, peel, and dice potatoes into large pieces. Boil the potatoes, garlic, and 1 t. salt in 6 cups of water until tender (about 20 minutes).

2. Drain and mash potatoes.

3. Add the remaining ingredients to the potatoes.

4. Combine until smooth and free of lumps.

Serves 3-4
