Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Ground Chuck
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Finely Chopped Onions
- ⅓ Cup Fine Dry Bread Crumbs or Crackers
- Salt to Taste
- Pepper to Taste
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Finely Minced or Crushed
- 1 #2 Can Tomatoes
- 1 8-ounce Can Tomato Sauce
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 1 Large Onion, finely chopped
- ½ Cup White Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon Allspice
- 1 7- or 8-ounce jar of grape jelly
Directions
- Combine Chuck, Eggs, Onions, Bread Crumbs, Salt, Pepper and Garlic. Form into small meat balls. Bake in 350º oven until brown.
- Combine in blender tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, onion, white vinegar, allspice and jelly. Brink to a boil and add meatballs. Simmer 1 hour. Keep warm in crock pot. Freezes well.
