Sweet & Sour Meatballs ~YuM~

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Ground Chuck
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Finely Chopped Onions
  • ⅓ Cup Fine Dry Bread Crumbs or Crackers
  • Salt to Taste
  • Pepper to Taste
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Finely Minced or Crushed
  • 1 #2 Can Tomatoes
  • 1 8-ounce Can Tomato Sauce
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 1 Large Onion, finely chopped
  • ½ Cup White Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 7- or 8-ounce jar of grape jelly

Directions

  1. Combine Chuck, Eggs, Onions, Bread Crumbs, Salt, Pepper and Garlic. Form into small meat balls. Bake in 350º oven until brown.

  2. Combine in blender tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, onion, white vinegar, allspice and jelly. Brink to a boil and add meatballs. Simmer 1 hour. Keep warm in crock pot. Freezes well.
