Ingredients:
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 green onion
- 5 Wieners (I use Nathan's the best)
- 1 Roma tomato (boil and peel the skin off, chop it up)
- 1 small can of Contadina tomato sauce
- 1 small bouillon cube
- A little parsley
- 1 cup of cooked white or brown rice
- Add some heat to this dish like red pepper flakes or a dash of Tabasco
- Put the butter in the skillet until it is melted, add the 1 chopped up green onion and cut the wieners in bit sizes.
- Boil some water and place your Roma tomato until the skin seems loose. Let the tomato cool a little and then peel the skin off, cut the tomato into small bits. Add to mixture.
- Add the tomato sauce, bouillon cube and parsley into the wiener mix. Let it cook while the rice cooks.
- You will need 2 cups of water, a little slab of butter and some salt. Bring to a boil. Add 1 cup of rice and mix. Let the rice cook on low for 30 minutes.
- Put the rice on the bottom and then add your wiener mixture on top. This may sound weird, but it is actually delicious and one of my favorite things to eat!
